The race
StraPotenza reaches its sixth edition and is organised by Club Atletico Potenza in the old town of Basilicata's capital. It is run on a 2 km loop with start and finish in Piazza Mario Pagano and Via Pretoria: five laps for the 10 km, which is the regional open championship and a stage of the Lucania Run circuit, and four laps for runners aged 70 and over.
All races start at 10:00, including a one-lap non-competitive walk. Entry to the competitive race costs 12 euros, is made online via Camelot Sport by 6 November and includes a race pack with local produce and a T-shirt.
