Official sources
We find races in calendars, such as the Italian athletics federation's (FIDAL), then go to each official website: rules, fees, start times, course, photos and videos.
- 2
Checking
Every piece of data is checked against its source and keeps it. If something is missing, it stays empty: we never make anything up, and we write the descriptions ourselves.
- 3
A complete page
Distances, fees, registration, map and GPX, race-day weather, photos and videos on a single page that search engines can read too.
- 4
Nightly updates
Every night we check the sources again: when fees, registration, start times or rules change, the page changes too.
The pictures come from the races
Only real photos of the race or the city, taken from the official websites and always credited. No AI-generated images and no stock photos. If an organiser doesn't want them, we take them down.

Runmaniac is a project by Digital Runner srl, a digital marketing agency founded in Turin in 2024.
The name is no coincidence: running is the world the agency knows best. Digital Runner handles communication for Base Running in Turin, for Equilibra Running Team and, with Infront, for the Verona Run Marathon and the Romeo & Giulietta Half Marathon.

Frequently asked questions
What is Runmaniac?
A website that brings running races together, marathons, halves, 10Ks and trails, with dates, courses, fees and registration taken from the official websites. Today it lists 18,804 races in 174 countries.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Runmaniac is free for runners and organisers.
Can I register for a race on Runmaniac?
No: you always register on the official website or on the platform chosen by the organiser. The race page gives you the direct link, the fees and the opening and closing dates.
Where does the data come from?
From the races' official websites. Calendars and aggregators only tell us that a race exists; every piece of data keeps its source and, if something is missing, we leave it empty rather than guess.
How often are race pages updated?
Every night we check the sources for fees, registration, start times and rules. Before you travel, always confirm the date and fee on the official website.
How does the weather on the race page work?
Until 16 days before the race you see the average of the last 10 years for that day; then the forecast arrives and is updated every night. The data comes from Open-Meteo.
I organise a race: how do I add it?
The "Add your race" form is coming soon. In the meantime, write to messaggi@digitalrunner.it with a link to the official website.
There are photos of my race: can I have them removed?
Yes. The photos come from the official websites and are credited; if you'd rather they weren't there, write to messaggi@digitalrunner.it and we'll take them down.
Which languages is it available in?
Italian, English, French, Spanish, German and Russian. Race names always stay the official ones.
Who is behind Runmaniac?
Digital Runner srl, a digital marketing agency based in Turin. You can find the agency at digitalrunner.it.
