The race
The 6 Miglia di Piossasco is the road race of the Camminata per la Vita, which reaches its 32nd edition in 2026. It takes place on Sunday 22 November 2026, starting and finishing in Piazza Primo Levi in the centre of Piossasco, organised by Piossasco Trail Runners with the support of the town.
The competitive race covers 9.6 km, six miles, and starts at 9:30. It is the second-to-last stage of the Criterium Podistico Piemontese and of the 2026 Pinerun circuit.
At 9:45 the Rungatunga sets off: a non-competitive run or walk open to everyone, supporting the school project in Gatunga, Kenya, run by the Amici di Joaquim Gomes association. From 9:00 there are also youth races, from the under-12 to the under-18 categories.
Course
The 9.6 km course is fast but technical, hilly and scenic. From the centre of Piossasco it crosses the Borgo di San Vito and climbs onto the Panoramica road, with views of Monviso and the plain between Turin and Pinerolo.
It then heads back to the centre and the finish in Piazza Primo Levi. The map published by the organisers shows two climbs, with the highest point just above 350 metres.
From 9:00 to 12:00 the roads on the course are closed to traffic, including via Kennedy, via Piave, via San Rocco, via del Campetto and via San Bernardino.
