The race
The 6 lakes – 6 sjöar race takes place on Saturday 14 August 2027 near Uppsala, with all races starting and finishing at Fjällnora friluftsgård. The name says it all: the marathon circles six lakes, the half four, while the 10 km (10.5 km) and 5 km (5.5 km) loop around a single lake.
The course runs on forest paths and varied roads; starts are at 10:00 (marathon), 10:30, 11:00 and 11:30. The race is environmentally friendly: no disposable cups, so bring your own bottle or get a free reusable cup. Registration for 2027 is open.
