The race
Wildmarathon's Arctic Marathon takes place on Sunday 4 April 2027 in Finnish Lapland: the start is on the square of Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, right on the Arctic Circle line. Runners choose between the marathon (42 km), half (21 km) and 10 km.
About 90% of the course is on snow-covered dirt, with around 120 m of elevation gain. The race is part of a five-day programme (2-6 April) with accommodation in bungalows with sauna and activities such as husky sledding.
