The race
The Arezzo Wild Trail "Official" is the end-of-season trail running event organised by Trail Running Project ASD: on Sunday 13 December 2026 it starts and finishes at the Villa Severi park in Arezzo and runs through the municipalities of Arezzo and Anghiari. There are three competitive distances: the 42 km Wild Marathon with 1,900 m of climbing, which reaches the ridges of the Alpe di Poti, the 23 km Wild Trail with 1,100 m and the 13 km Wild Short Trail with 600 m, designed for those new to trail running.
The routes follow single tracks, old mule paths and woods maintained all year by volunteers, with views over the Arezzo valleys and the Tuscan Apennines. Alongside the races there are two non-competitive walks, the 23 km Long Walk and the 13 km Easy Walk, open to dogs on a lead. The races are on the UISP calendar, in the ITRA National League and in the Valli Aretine Trail Series 2026.
Fees range from €20 to €45 and include a shirt or gadget, local products, a metal medal, free photos on ENDU, massages, changing rooms and showers.
