The race
The Beer Lovers' Marathon is a real 42.195 km marathon, held on Sunday 16 May 2027 from the Palais des Congrès in Liège. There are 16 aid stations on the course: besides water and food, each one serves a different special beer, and Belgian treats such as fries, boudin, cheese and waffles appear in the second half.
The fee is €120 until 31 January 2027 and €150 until 30 April (plus registration costs). The weekend includes a pasta party on Saturday evening and a farewell beer on Monday.
