The race
The Belgian Front Memorial Trail takes place on Saturday 8 May 2027 along the front line of the Great War, past monuments and military cemeteries. The Long Way (100.9 km, solo or relay) starts at 7:00 from the Peace Village in Mesen and finishes on the Grote Markt in Diksmuide.
The half marathon (21.1 km) starts at 14:00 from Diksmuide's market square, passes the Yser Tower and the reconstructed Trench of Death and returns to the start. There is also a 5 km run at 12:30. Registration for 2027 opens soon.
