The race
The 44th Cadbury Marathon takes place on Sunday 3 January 2027, based at the Cadbury factory in Claremont, on the edge of Hobart in Tasmania. It is one of the island's best-loved running events.
Runners can choose the marathon, half marathon, 10km or 5km, or take part virtually. At the regular rate, valid until 1 January, the marathon costs AUD 125 and the half AUD 110.
