The race
AF Motors CagliariRespira, the 18th Cagliari International Half Marathon, takes place on Sunday 6 December 2026, starting at 10:00 on Viale Diaz near Piazza Marco Polo and finishing inside the Fiera della Sardegna. Founded in 2008 by ASD Cagliari Marathon Club, it combines sport and respiratory health and draws more than 2,500 participants every year.
The FIDAL-certified single-loop course crosses the historic centre, runs along the Poetto beach with the Sella del Diavolo in the background and enters the Molentargius park, among salt pans and pink flamingos. Fees range from €30 to €40, with pacers from 1h30 to 2h00, a technical shirt and a medal. The same morning features the KaraliStaffetta for pairs (about 8 + 13 km), a tourist version for unregistered foreign runners, the 6 km SeiKaralis and the Kids Run. Prize money reaches €500 for the winners, plus a €500 bonus for breaking the course record.
