The race
The Corsa Terre del Negroamaro, now in its twenty-second edition, is ASD Abacus's road race between Villa Baldassarri and Guagnano, in the part of Salento known for its wineries and Negroamaro wine; it began as the «Città di Guagnano» race and is also the 16th Memorial Vito Taurino. On Sunday 29 November the start is at 9:30 from Piazza Aldo Moro for a single flat loop of 9.9 km, counting as round 17 of the Running in Salento Street series.
Behind the race comes the Camminata in Rosa, a non-competitive walk of about 6 km open to everyone and dedicated to cancer prevention. The race fee is 7 euros and entries close on 26 November.
