The race
The TUI Cyprus Marathon, first held in 1999, returns to the Paphos region on 27 and 28 February 2027. On Saturday at 16:00 there is the 5K Sunset Run from Paphos Castle; on Sunday runners tackle the marathon, half marathon (21.089 km) and 10K.
The marathon starts at 7:00 from Petra tou Romiou, Aphrodite's mythical birthplace, and follows the coast towards Paphos harbour; the half and 10K start from the castle at 8:00 and 8:20. Time limits: 6 hours for the marathon, 3 hours for the half.
