The Dubai Marathon reaches its 26th edition on Sunday 17 January 2027. Run since 1998, it is the Middle East's oldest international marathon, holds a World Athletics Gold Label and is known for its fast, flat course along the Jumeirah coast, in the shadow of the Burj Al Arab.
The elite start at 5:45, the mass marathon at 6:30, the 10km at 8:00 and the 4km fun run at 10:00. Start temperatures are around 10-15°C and the marathon time limit is 6 hours.
All marathon and 10km participants receive an official race T-shirt, a finisher's medal and a downloadable certificate. Fees are USD 150 for the marathon, 85 for the 10km and 50 for the 4km.

Course
The marathon starts on Al Taryam / Umm Suqeim Road near the Police Academy, heads up Al Sufouh to a U-turn at the Dubai Media City entrance, then comes back past the Al Qasr Hotel and Madinat Jumeirah.
It then joins Jumeirah Beach Road, past the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and runs towards the Creek bridge to a U-turn after the Al Mehemal Road junction; this loop on Jumeirah Beach Road is run twice. The race ends back on Al Taryam Road and inside the Police Academy, finishing on the parade ground in front of the grandstand.
Water every 2.5km from 5km to 40km and at the finish; hydration drinks at 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40km.
