The race
The Frostwiesenlauf is the Spreewald's winter run: the 25th edition takes place on 23 and 24 January 2027 in and around Burg (Spreewald), organised by Spreewald-Marathon e.V.
There is no mass start: runners set off individually, alone or in small groups. On Sunday the base is the Landhotel Burg, with distances up to 30 km and a half marathon; on Saturday runs start from the Bootshaus am Leineweber. Everyone receives a medal and certificate, and you can also take part "from home".
