The race
The BOclassic is Bolzano's international New Year's Eve race: on 31 December the old town becomes a 1.25 km circuit where some of the world's best runners compete, the men over 10 km and the women over 5 km. Before the elite races, at 11:30, the Ladurner Volkslauf sets off, a 5K open to everyone aged 18+ and run as a proper race, followed by the youth races of the Raiffeisen Jugendcup. The day opens with the Just-for-fun run and closes with the women's elite race at 13:30.
Entry fees
Rules and requirements
The Ladurner Volkslauf (5 km, 4 laps) is open from age 18 to FIDAL members, Runcard holders and members of foreign federations, with documents uploaded online when entering. The fee is €30 until 24 December and €35 after; it is not refunded if you do not run and bibs cannot be transferred. Bibs are collected on 31 December from 8:00 to 12:00 at the Race Office in Piazza Parrocchia, showing proof of payment.
