The race
The Giants Head Marathon Weekend runs from 18 to 20 June 2027 in the village of Sydling St Nicholas, near Dorchester in Dorset: BigFeat notes that the race has won Britain's Best Marathon awards several times and a Racecheck Gold Award in 2026.
On Saturday 19 June there are the marathon (9:00, 7.5-hour cut-off) and the 10K (10:30); on Sunday 20 the half marathon (10:30, 4-hour cut-off). All routes are tough and hilly, through the Sydling and Cerne valleys.
