The race
The Giro dei 5 Campanili is a provincial FIDAL mountain race in Grosio, in Valtellina, organised by U.S. Grosio Calcio's Rupe Magna section and now in its twenty-first edition. On Sunday 22 November the adult race starts at 9:00 from the town hall square on Via Roma, on a mixed course of about 11.5 km on asphalt and dirt with 400 metres of climbing, finishing back in the same square.
At 10:30 it is the youngsters' turn, from Esordienti to Allievi, over distances from 400 metres to 2.8 km. Entry is 20 euros for adults, 3 euros for Ragazzi, Cadetti and Allievi and free for Esordienti; after lunch at the parish hall, prizes are awarded together with those of the Grand Prix delle Valli.
