The race
The HOKA Hackney Half is East London's half marathon, born in 2014 at Hackney Marshes. The 2027 edition takes place on Sunday 16 May, during the HOKA Hackney Moves festival weekend (14-16 May).
The 21.1 km course runs on closed roads, flat and flowing, through the heart of the borough with live music, run crew cheer zones and pacers: suited both to a first half and to PB hunting. Start and finish are at Hackney Marshes, where the Festival Village offers food, drink, fitness classes and music, free for everyone.
For 2027 general entries, sold at a single price of £69 in three windows, are sold out: only charity partner places remain. On Saturday 15 May there is also the HOKA Hackney 5K, free and open to everyone aged 13 and over, with a family wave.
Organised by Motiv Sports UK.
