The race
The Ivery Vertical Running is a competitive individual uphill time trial in Pont-Saint-Martin, in the Aosta Valley. The third edition takes place on Saturday 31 October 2026, organised by the Associazione dei Rioni di Pont-Saint-Martin with the town council; technical organisation is by ASD Atletica Pont Donnas.
The course measures 3,175 m with 330 m of climbing: it starts in Piazza IV Novembre, passes Via Chanoux, Piazza 1° Maggio and the mule track to the Fontaney church, reaches Castello Baraing (intermediate sprint), crosses the Roman Bridge and climbs the mule track to the hamlet of Ivery, finishing at the covered car park square.

The race is reserved for FIDAL, Runcard and affiliated sports body members from the under-18 category up. Entry costs €10, pasta party included, online on irunning.it or at the assembly point.
Course
The hill climb is 3,175 m long with 330 m of positive elevation gain and starts from piazza IV Novembre, in the centre of Pont-Saint-Martin.
After via Chanoux and piazza 1° Maggio, the route takes the mule track to the Fontaney church and via Perloz up to Baraing Castle, where the intermediate sprint is located. It then descends the San Giacomo climb and via Roma, crosses the Roman Bridge and climbs again along the "Trasformatore" mule track.
After crossing the regional road to Gressoney, a last mule track leads to the hamlet of Ivery: the finish is in the covered car park square of the village.

It is an individual time trial, for men and women, open to FIDAL, Runcard and affiliated sports promotion body members in the allievi, junior, promesse, senior and master categories.
