The race

The Kernavė - Vilnius Trail, first held in 2015, is Lithuania's oldest ultra trail and links the ancient capital Kernavė with Vilnius: the 2027 edition is on Saturday 12 June.

The classic distance is 82 km, with almost 2,000 metres of climbing through forests, river valleys and hills along the Neris. The 42 km trail marathon starts in the village of Šilėnai and follows the ultra route to the finish in Vilnius; there are also 24 km and 10 km courses.
