The race
The Maasdijk Winterrun hosts the Maasdijk marathon this year: it is on Sunday 20 December 2026, the last Sunday before Christmas, in the municipality of Oss.
After 13 hot June editions, the classic marathon moves to winter: a flat, point-to-point course from Ravenstein to Gewande, following the Meuse dyke as much as possible. Entries are capped at 250; the first kilometres are closed to traffic, then the route is marked with cones. The trail through the floodplains stays on the programme.
