The race
The Marathon de Cheverny & Trail du Pays des Châteaux takes place on 3 and 4 April 2027 among the Loire châteaux. On Sunday 4 the marathon (also as a four-person relay) starts at 8:00 in the park of the Château de Cheverny, with three loops through vineyards, forest and village and 15 gourmet aid stations; the half marathon (21 km) starts at 9:00.
On Saturday 3 there is the 10K (16:30) and the trails of 63, 42, 28 and 14 km, which start from different places and finish in Cheverny. In 2026 there were more than 7,200 participants.
