The race
The Marathon des Vins de Blaye, run since 2004, holds its 22nd edition on Saturday 15 May 2027: the date was moved from 8 May because of national ceremonies. Start and finish are at the Porte Royale of the Citadel of Blaye, and the marathon route crosses 10 châteaux and 14 villages, with ten wine stops.
The marathon starts at 8:30 (limit 6h30, from €70), the Semi-Marathon des Côteaux at 9:00 (3-hour limit, 800 bibs, €35 until 16 April) and the 10 km des Vignes at 9:30 (from €15).
