The race
The Marathon International du Beaujolais reaches its 22nd edition on 21 and 22 November 2026. On Saturday 21 the marathon starts at 8:30 (in three waves) in Fleurie and finishes in Villefranche-sur-Saône: 95% of the route is on small Beaujolais roads, passing 12 châteaux and wine cellars, with 15 aid stations and a 7h30 time limit.
The same day features the half marathon (10:00, from Villefranche) and the 13 km du Rhône (13:00); on Sunday 22 come the trails of 43, 24 and 15 km, starting from Gleizé.
