The race
The Mondseelauf reaches its 45th edition on Saturday 29 May 2027, on Lake Mondsee in the Salzkammergut. The half marathon starts at 17:00 from the Marktplatz, follows the lakeshore beneath the Drachenwand cliff and returns along the Seepromenade to the finish in the square.
The course has little climbing and over 90% asphalt; the finish closes at 20:00. A 10K and a 5K also start in the evening; half marathon fees range from €40 (early bird) to €59.
