The race
The Coelmo Napoli City Half Marathon is the half marathon of Naples: its 13th edition is on Sunday 21 February 2027, starting at 9:00 from Viale J. F. Kennedy, next to the Mostra d'Oltremare, where the finish also is. It is listed in the World Athletics, AIMS and FIDAL calendars and holds the World Athletics Label, the FIDAL Gold Label and European Athletics 5-star status.
The flat, fast course runs along the sea with Vesuvius in the background and through the historic heart of the city: here Yeman Crippa set the Italian half marathon record of 59:01 in 2026 and Sofiia Yaremchuk the women's record in 2024. In 2026 there were 10,012 starters from 117 countries, more than half from abroad. Alongside the half there is the Napoli Relay, a non-competitive two-person relay linked to the charity programme, and on Saturday 20 February the Family Run & Friends, about 2 km in the Mostra d'Oltremare park, open to everyone, dogs included.
Bibs and race packs are collected only at the Sport Expo on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 February, with free entry. The start is easy to reach by metro (Campi Flegrei station) and the Cumana line (Mostra stop).

Course
Start and finish on Viale J. F. Kennedy, near the Mostra d'Oltremare. According to the official guide, the course soon reaches Mergellina and the Lungomare Caracciolo, with views of the Gulf, Vesuvius and Capri, passes the Fountain of the Siren Partenope and the Villa Comunale, then via Via Marina and the Aragonese Towers enters the city along Corso Umberto I to Piazza Municipio, beneath the Maschio Angioino.
The last kilometres return to the seafront before the finish on Viale Kennedy. Measured and certified course, among the fastest in the Mediterranean; temperatures around 13 degrees. In 2026 the aid stations were at km 5, 10 and 15, plus the final refreshment inside the Mostra d'Oltremare.
Cut-off at km 9.5 by 10:40; time limit 3 hours 30 minutes. For the Napoli Relay the changeover is around the tenth kilometre: second-leg runners get there on the 8:20 and 8:30 shuttles from Viale Kennedy at Piazzale Tecchio. The Family Run & Friends takes place entirely in the Mostra d'Oltremare park.
