The race
The Neubrandenburger Tollenseseelauf, nicknamed "Der Härteste im Norden" (the toughest in the north), reaches its 35th edition on Saturday 12 June 2027, with the marathon starting at 9:00 in Neubrandenburg's Kulturpark. It is organised by SV Turbine Neubrandenburg.
The marathon circles Lake Tollensesee on a demanding profile; the half marathon and 10K are out-and-back courses. There is also a four-person marathon relay. More than 2,000 runners take part every year.
