The race
The Paderborner Osterlauf bills itself as Germany's oldest road race: the 79th edition is on Easter Saturday, 27 March 2027, in Paderborn. In 2026 it set a record with 15,070 starters.
Start and finish are at Maspernplatz Ost; all courses are two laps on tarmac, measured to AIMS rules. The half marathon starts at 14:30 (finish closes at 17:15), the 10K at 12:30 and the 5K at 10:15. The half costs from 35 euros and has 3,500 places.
