The race
The PolimiRun Lecco is the urban trail of the Politecnico di Milano: 10 km on a mixed road and dirt course between the city and the hills around Lecco, with 425 metres of elevation gain. The 7th edition takes place on Sunday 8 November 2026.
The start is at 9:30 from the Politecnico's Lecco campus at Via Ghislanzoni 22, which also hosts the finish and the Village. You can choose the competitive race or the non-competitive version, open to everyone.
The competitive fee ranges from €18 to €25 and includes the official Brooks shirt, bib with chip, race bag, aid stations and bag drop.
Course
The course is a 10 km loop starting and finishing at the Lecco campus on Via Ghislanzoni.
After crossing the city it climbs north towards the hills around Lecco, through natural landscapes and small villages: a course of ups and downs on road and dirt, with 425 m D+ and a maximum gradient of 44%. There is an aid station at halfway and one at the finish.

Rules and requirements
- FIDAL membersMembers of an Italian athletics club (Italian Athletics Federation).
- Sports promotion bodiesMembers of an Italian sports promotion body recognised by FIDAL, with a competitive medical certificate.
- RuncardFIDAL card for runners without a club: buy it online and pair it with a competitive athletics medical certificate.
Competitive race
- open from age 18 to members of FIDAL, US ACLI or affiliated promotion bodies, and to RUNCARD or Mountain & Trail Runcard holders
- a competitive medical certificate for athletics is required
- time limit of 1 hour 40 minutes

Kit collection
Friday 6 November (11:00-19:00) at the Terrazza Gardella of the Leonardo Campus in Milan and Saturday 7 November (10:00-16:00) at the Lecco campus. On race morning bibs are only handed out to runners from outside the region.
