The race
Rose of The Shires ULTRA and The Rosebud Marathon takes place on Saturday 10 April 2027 in the Northamptonshire countryside, based at Brixworth Country Park and organised by Go Beyond Events.
The ultra is a 54-mile loop on trails, roads and Grand Union Canal towpaths, passing Salcey Forest, with six checkpoints and a 13.5-hour cut-off (over-18s only); there is also a relay. The Rosebud Marathon covers the last 26.2 miles of the route, starting from Ashton Road, Hartwell, at 11:30am and finishing at Brixworth.
