The race
The HOKA Semi de Paris takes place on Sunday 7 March 2027 over the 21.097 km half marathon distance through the streets of Paris. From 2027 it is organised by Cadence Running United with HOKA as title partner, and the big change is the course, which is different every year: the aim is to pass through every Paris arrondissement over four editions, along the quays, grand avenues, neighbourhood streets, squares and cobbled sections.
The 2027 route is still secret and will be unveiled in early 2027. The race was born in 1993 and grew through the 2000s into a major popular event, with around 40,000 runners on the start line. For 2027 bibs are allocated by ballot, which drew 110,000 entries; a bib costs €79.
Course
The Semi de Paris changes its course every year: the organisers want to show runners different streets and neighbourhoods each time and, over four editions, to pass through every Paris arrondissement. The website promises varied terrain with climbs, false flats, long straights, turns and cobbled sections, as well as the quays and grand avenues.
The 2027 route, with start, finish, aid stations and entertainment, will be published in early 2027 on an interactive map. The distance is the official 21.097 km.

Rules and requirements
For 2027 bibs are allocated by a free ballot (entries 8-30 September 2026, also in teams of 2 to 6 who share the same result); from 1 October successful applicants receive an email and have 72 hours to register and pay, after which the place goes to another runner. Unsuccessful applicants stay in the running for any further draws.
The Grand Public fee is €79, the same for everyone; there is a specific rate for 2026-2027 FFA licence holders and a €25 Dossard Passerelle for those who meet the eligibility criteria. Without the ballot you can run with a Dossard Engagé (€40 fee plus at least €210 in donations for a charity), through corporate packages or with partner tour operators.
The right to register and the bib are personal; the official resale platform opens on 1 December. Medical certificate or PPS, cancellation and refund terms, bib collection and start times will be announced before the race.
