The race
The Shakespeare Marathon & Half Marathon returns on Sunday 25 April 2027 in Stratford-upon-Avon, organised by RunThrough with Stratford Rotary Club.
The flat, fast route leaves the town centre, passes the racecourse and runs through Luddington and Welford-on-Avon before returning along the Stratford Greenway: one lap for the half, two for the marathon (the second, extended loop also takes in Long Marston). Most of it is on closed roads, finishing at the Recreation Ground.
