The race
The Sheffield Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 4 April 2027, starting at 9:30 from Arundel Gate in Sheffield city centre, where it also finishes.
The route climbs towards Ringinglow with views of the Peak District and includes a 'triple test': a timed hill climb, a timed 10K downhill section from Hathersage Road and the race title itself. It is open to runners aged 17 and over.
