The race
Skipton Sweetie Skedaddle is an Its Grim Up North Running race on 6 February 2027, starting from Craven Leisure Centre, Gargrave Road. The course is a flat out-and-back along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towpath; the longer distances are run over several laps.
Runners can choose between ultra, marathon, 20 miles, half marathon, 10 miles and 10K; races are licensed by the Trail Running Association under UKA rules, with feed stations about every 3 miles and a medal for every finisher. The cut-off is 6 hours 30 minutes for all distances.
