The race
The ATW St Albans Half Marathon, known as the #icelollyrun, takes place on Sunday 13 June 2027 from Verulamium Park in St Albans: it has more than 40 years of history, and every finisher gets a medal and an ice lolly.
The half marathon runs on closed roads through the hilly lanes around the city, with a 3 hour 15 cut-off (5 hours for walkers); there is also a closed-road 10K (age 15+), a 5K (11+) and the 1.5-mile Family Fun Run.
