The race
The Stralivigno is the trail half marathon of Livigno, in upper Valtellina: the 27th edition is set for Saturday 17 July 2027, the date announced by the organisers at the end of the 2026 edition. It has been run since 2000 and is organised by Livigno Next with the Sporting Club Livigno – Marathon Club Alta Quota. The course of about 21 km, with 450 metres of elevation gain, mixes trails, single tracks through the woods, gravel roads and asphalt: it crosses the town centre, follows the Spöl stream and climbs among pastures and the traditional tee huts, starting and finishing in front of Aquagranda.
You can run it alone or in pairs in the Stralivigno Staffetta relay, with two legs of about 10.5 km and the changeover at Pont Lonch, in the Tresenda area. The next day it is the children's turn with the Ministralivigno on the Aquagranda athletics track. In 2026 there were more than 1,600 entries, a record, with the Stralivigno Village and talks with sports champions in front of the AQ1816 Olympic Training Centre. Times, fees and rules for 2027 have not been published yet: the practical information below refers to the 2026 edition.

Course
Start and finish are in front of Aquagranda, Via Rasia 999. The course, a loop of about 21 km with 450 metres of elevation gain, is rated as hilly by the organisers, on mixed surfaces: dirt trails, woodland sections, single tracks, gravel roads and asphalt stretches of the Livigno valley, passing through the centre, along the Spöl stream and among the tee, the traditional huts.
The official GPX track (2025 course) stays between about 1,800 and 2,030 metres above sea level. In 2026 the aid stations were at Mottolino (km 2.5), Fior di Bosco (km 5), Pont Lonch (km 10, relay changeover), Tea Borch (km 12.5), Tana del Gatto (km 16) and at the finish at Aquagranda; there was a cut-off at km 10 after 1 hour 45 minutes and a 3 hour 30 minute time limit. The relay splits the course into two legs of about 10.5 km: the first with 180 metres of climbing, the second with 275.
