The race
The Sussex Downs Trail Run takes place on Saturday 28 November 2026, starting from Plumpton Racecourse near Lewes in the South Downs National Park.
There are three routes: half marathon (21.3 km, 382 m of climbing, start 9:15), 15.5 km and 10.8 km. They begin with a flattish 3.5 km tree-lined section, climb to the South Downs Way with sweeping views and end with a descent and a flat final 3 km to the finish. Half marathon entry from £44.50.
