The race
The Feriepartner Thy Trail Marathon takes place on Saturday 27 February 2027 in Thy National Park on Jutland's west coast, billed as Denmark's toughest marathon. The course follows the old rescue road through dunes, beaches and pine plantations, from Lodbjerg lighthouse to the finish at Hummerhuset in Klitmøller.
The marathon (42.19 km) starts at 10:00, the half (21.29 km) at 12:00 from Stenbjerg Landingsplads and the 11 km at 11:00 from Bøgsted Rende, with buses from Klitmøller. Entry DKK 450, 350 and 250; a windproof jacket, hat, gloves and long tights are mandatory.
