The race
The Tuusulanjärven Maraton takes place on Saturday 24 April 2027 around Lake Tuusulanjärvi, north of Helsinki, starting and finishing at Rykmentinpuisto in Hyrylä. Organised since 1994 by a group of local clubs, it offers the marathon (at 10:00), half marathon (12:00), the 10 km Rantatien kymppi and a 5 km.
The marathon and half course is officially measured and runs mostly on asphalt cycle and footpaths along the lake and the historic Rantatie road. Marathon entry ranges from €50 (until 31 December 2026) to €60, or €70 on the day; every finisher gets a medal.
