The race
The Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Zurich is the fastest half marathon in the world: Ethiopia's Letesenbet Gidey set the women's world record here in 2021 (1:02:52), and seven of the ten fastest men's times ever over the distance were run on this course. It holds a World Athletics Gold Label, was named the best half marathon in Spain by the Spanish federation and is the final SuperHalfs race of the year.
The 35th edition takes place on Sunday 25 October 2026, starting and finishing on Avinguda dels Tarongers in the university district: the gun goes at 8:25, with seven waves through to 9:27, and the time limit is 2 hours 45 minutes. There are 25,000 bibs, allocated through a priority window for the previous year's runners and then a ballot.
Bibs, wristbands and goodie bags are collected at the Expo 21K at Feria Valencia on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, and the Medal Party at L'Umbracle closes Sunday evening.

Course
The AIMS/RFEA-certified course is entirely on asphalt, starts and finishes on Avinguda dels Tarongers in the university area and has very few turns, so it is easy to hold your pace. The early kilometres run alongside L'Horta Nord, the farmland with its tiger nut fields, then the route skirts the upper edge of the old Turia riverbed, the city's great park, and enters the historic centre.
Near the end it passes through the streets of El Cabanyal, the old fishermen's quarter, before the final straight on the blue finish carpet. Farmacia Ribera has two assistance points with Vaseline and pain-relief spray at km 15.1 and 18.5. Runners reaching km 10 after 11:00 must leave the race.

The 25,000 bibs for 2026 were allocated first through a 4-day window for 2025 entrants (30 October - 3 November 2025), then through a free ballot (entries 4-14 November, draw before a notary on 17 November, 12 days to pay); places that come free go to the waiting list, which is now closed to new names.
Prices: €40 for bibs 1-10,000, €80 for bibs 10,001-25,000 and ballot places, €100 from the waiting list, plus a €3 day licence for unlicensed runners. Seven start waves from 8:25 based on your declared time (under 1:34 you must prove it with a result from the last three years); time limit 2:45 with a cut-off at km 10 at 11:00.
Bibs are only collected in person (or by an authorised person) at the Expo 21K, Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, 9:00-21:00. Refunds only for injury (75% until 1 August, 50% until 30 September), pregnancy, or with the refund service bought at registration (80% until 18 October); bib transfers only through the official platform.
