The race

The Eurospin Verona Run Marathon celebrates its 25th edition on Sunday 15 November 2026, with the marathon at 9:00 and the 13th half marathon at 8:00, both starting on Corso Porta Nuova and finishing in Piazza Bra next to the Arena. The World Athletics certified course crosses Roman and medieval Verona: Piazza delle Erbe, San Fermo Maggiore, Castelvecchio, the Arco dei Gavi, the monumental gates and the bridges over the Adige.

Marathon runners head north to the Chievo dam and Parona, and for the anniversary the 21K also passes through the «G. Duca» barracks. The course is almost flat with nine aid stations and more than 50 pacers for times from 3h00 to 5h30 (21K from 1h24 to 2h45). Bibs, the official Joma shirt and late entries are handled at the Expo in the AGSM Forum, open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning.

On race day a free shuttle links the Expo, start and finish, and showers are available at the Expo. The Family Run, open to everyone, takes place the same morning.

Course

Both races start on the long straight of Corso Porta Nuova, a few steps from Piazza Bra. The course runs through the historic centre past Piazza delle Erbe, the old Roman forum, the church of San Fermo Maggiore, the Arco dei Gavi and Castelvecchio, crosses the Adige several times on the city bridges and passes under the monumental gates of the walls.

For the 25th anniversary the 21K enters the «G. Duca» barracks. The marathon extends north along the Chievo dam and Parona before returning to town. Finish in Piazza Bra, in front of the Arena.

Asphalt surface, almost flat: the official profile stays between about 56 and 72 metres. Marathon runners must pass km 20 by 11:50.
