The race
The ATW Watford Half Marathon & 10K takes place on Sunday 7 February 2027, starting from Cassiobury Park in Watford, and has been running for more than 40 years; the half also hosts the Hertfordshire Vets championships.
The half marathon follows fully closed roads into the lanes behind the Grove, through Bucks Hill, Commonwood Common and Chandlers Cross, with a 2 hour 45 cut-off at mile 11. The 10K is multi-terrain, with a stretch on the Grand Union Canal towpath and woodland trails; there is also a 1.8 km fun run in the park.
