The race
The 10000 dell'Aceto Balsamico is a FIDAL Bronze national 10 km road race held in Spilamberto, in the province of Modena, on Sunday 25 October 2026. It is organised by Modena Runners Club and this is its second edition.
The course is a flat 1,960-metre loop, closed to traffic, run 5 times, with the start 200 metres before the finish on the Via Marconi straight. There are two heats: at 9:00 women, masters over 50 and masters 35-45 with an entry time above 38 minutes; at 10:30 the elite heat.
The time limit is 1 hour 15 minutes. Prize money totals €2,000 across overall, Italian, masters and under-23 rankings.
Course
The race is run on a flat 1,960-metre loop closed to traffic, covered 5 times for a FIDAL-certified distance of 10 km.
The start is 200 metres before the finish, on the Via Marconi straight. There is a water station on the course and one at the finish with water, tea and fruit; there are no sponge stations.

- FIDAL membersMembers of an Italian athletics club (Italian Athletics Federation).
- RuncardFIDAL card for runners without a club: buy it online and pair it with a competitive athletics medical certificate.
- International runnersMembers of a federation affiliated to World Athletics, or with a Runcard and a competitive medical certificate.

- FIDAL 2026 members in the Allievi, Juniores, Promesse and Seniores categories
- Runcard holders aged 20 and over, with a competitive medical certificate for athletics
- members of clubs affiliated with foreign federations recognised by World Athletics
Entries and fees
Enter online at irunning.it until 24:00 on Thursday 22 October 2026; the fee is €15. On race day, if bibs remain, it is €20. Entries close at 300 runners.
