The race
Valli e Pinete turns fifty: the 50th edition takes place on Sunday 24 January 2027 in Ravenna, starting and finishing at the Pala De André on Viale Europa, with the gun at 9:30. The race blends tradition and nature on courses that mix tarmac and dirt tracks through the pine woods and wetlands around Ravenna. There are three distances: the 30 km, which the organisers at Ravenna Runners Club recommend as ideal training for anyone preparing a marathon, the competitive half marathon and the 10 km non-competitive run for a more relaxed day out.
Fees rise as race day approaches (30 km from 28 to 40 euros, half from 25 to 37, 10 km from 16 to 22) and until 7 November 2026 residents of the province of Ravenna get a promotional price. Everyone receives a T-shirt, a race pack and the medal celebrating the 50th edition; bibs carry the runner's name for online entries received by 18 January.
Course
Start and finish at the Pala De André, Viale Europa 1, Ravenna. The 30 km, half marathon and 10 km courses mix tarmac and dirt, running through the pine woods and wetlands that give the race its name. The 2027 course maps have not been published yet: the website lists them as coming soon.

Rules and requirements
Entries online on Avaibook Sports until 19 January 2027, then on 22 and 23 January at bib collection. 30 km competitive: 28 euros until 31 August 2026, 32 euros from 1 September to 30 November, 36 euros from 1 December to 19 January 2027 and 40 euros on 22 and 23 January. Competitive half marathon: 25, 29, 33 and 37 euros with the same deadlines.
10 km non-competitive: 16, 18, 20 and 22 euros. Residents of the province of Ravenna have a promotional fee (25 euros for the 30 km, 20 for the half, 14 for the 10 km), valid online until 7 November 2026 and at the Ravenna Marathon Expo Marathon Village on 6 and 7 November. Entry includes a bib (with your name only for online entries received by 18 January), T-shirt, 50th-edition medal, race pack, medical assistance, insurance, bag drop and refreshments.
Bibs are collected at the Pala De André on Friday 22 January from 15:00 to 19:00 and Saturday 23 January from 10:00 to 19:00. The organisers may update this information as needed.
