The race
The Aalborg Brutal Marathon is held on Good Friday, 26 March 2027, in the green areas around Aalborg Zoo, starting and finishing at Stolpedalsskolen. It is organised by Aalborg Motionsklub, which presents it as one of Denmark's oldest and toughest marathons.
After a short opening loop, runners complete 6.9 km laps (6 for the marathon, 3 for the half) on very hilly terrain: 620 m of climbing over the marathon, 80% asphalt. Start at 11:00 (half at 11:15), 6-hour time limit, entry DKK 250 and DKK 200, with places capped at 125 and 75.
