The race
Alba d'Oriente – Le dieci miglia di Otranto is an urban trail race in its first edition, organised by Podistica Magliese with the support of the Municipality of Otranto. On Sunday 27 December 2026 runners set off at 8:45 from Porta Terra, near the town gardens, for a single loop of about 15.2 km through the centre and the roads outside town.
A competitive 8.5 km race runs at the same time, alongside a non-competitive Family Run over the same distance, with part of the proceeds going to the Cuore Amico charity. Bib collection opens at 7:30 on Lungomare degli Eroi and the finish closes at 11:30.
