The race
The Stracollina Trail reaches its fifth edition on Sunday 13 December 2026 in Mottola and is the ninth stage of the Puglia Trail circuit. The 16 km course, with 280 metres of elevation gain, is entirely off-road and of medium difficulty: it starts at 9:00 from Tenuta Donna Teresa in Contrada Sterpina, crosses the Sant'Antuono woods and trails of the Sant'Elia park, passes the farmstead in Contrada Tamburello and the cave village of San Vito, then returns to the estate.
This year the route is run in reverse, fully self-supported with no aid stations on course, and the time limit is two and a half hours. Alongside the competitive race there is a non-competitive 16 km and a 9 km walk.
