The race
The Bossoni Brescia Art Marathon celebrates its 25th edition on Sunday 14 March 2027. Organised by ASD Rosa Running Team on a FIDAL-certified course, the marathon starts at 8:30 from Largo Formentone and finishes in Piazza della Loggia after crossing the city's history: the Brixia Archaeological Park with the Capitolium, the Arco del Broletto, Piazza Paolo VI with the Old and New Cathedrals, as well as residential districts, green areas and cycle paths.
The course is urban and flat, with just 4 metres of difference between start and finish. The same morning features the half marathon and the BCC Brescia 10K, both competitive, the Sportland Easy Run, a 10 km non-competitive run open to everyone, and the Rondinelle Family Walking, a 5 km charity walk for families, dogs included.
Fees rise with the number of entrants: €50 to €70 for the marathon, with a fixed €50 for all women, €30 to €40 for the half and €15 to €25 for the 10 km. The meeting point is the Marathon Village in Piazza Vittoria. In 2026 the BAM sold out two weeks early: 4,323 entrants across the three competitive races, more than 350 from abroad.

Course
Marathon and half start in Largo Formentone (the 10 km starts from Via X Giornate, the Easy Run from Corso Zanardelli) and everyone finishes in Piazza della Loggia. The route passes the Roman ruins of the Capitolium in the Brixia Archaeological Park, the Mille Miglia Museum, Piazza Paolo VI with its two cathedrals and the Arco del Broletto leading into the old town, alternating central streets with residential districts, green areas and cycle paths.
It is a fully urban, flat and certified course: the start is at 156 metres, the finish at 152 and the highest point, 181 metres, comes around km 8. Water points every 5 km with sponges; bottles and cups go in the dedicated zone about 100 metres after each station. The 3D course videos published by the organisers refer to the 2026 edition; the route is confirmed for 2027.
