The race
The CorriSanFerdinando, now in its thirteenth edition, has an unusual format: it is a one-hour race in which every runner covers as many laps as possible of a flat, certified 1.978 km circuit, and the winner is whoever runs the furthest. It takes place on Sunday 13 December 2026 in San Ferdinando di Puglia, with runners meeting at 8:00 in the market area on Via Gramsci and the start at 9:30 on the same street.
It is organised by G.S. Atletica San Ferdinando and counts towards the Trofeo degli Ulivi provincial series. Entries are on Icron, at €7 or €10 depending on the race pack.
