The race
The Mezzamaratona Città di Monopoli – Trofeo AS Labruna, organised by Atletica Monopoli, holds its 16th edition on Sunday 6 December 2026 and is a stage of the Corripuglia circuit. Start and finish are on Via Palmiro Togliatti, by the municipal stadium, with the gun at 9:00 whatever the weather. The 21.097 km course, FIDAL category A certified and closed to traffic, runs from Monopoli to Polignano a Mare and back.
Fees are low: €18 without race pack, €20 or €22 with the pack, guaranteed to the first 1,400 entrants. Every finisher gets a medal showing a monument of the town; there are pacers, drink stations and a finish refreshment area. Entries are only on the Icron portal until 3 December.

Course
Start and finish on Via Palmiro Togliatti, at Monopoli's municipal stadium. According to the official track on Google My Maps, the first 4 km loop through the southern districts of Monopoli; the course then heads north-west on a long straight to the outskirts of Polignano a Mare, turning around at about km 12, and comes back along the same route to the finish.
Asphalt, roads closed to traffic and an essentially flat course. Drink stations along the way under FIDAL rules and refreshments at the finish.

- FIDAL membersMembers of an Italian athletics club (Italian Athletics Federation).
- RuncardFIDAL card for runners without a club: buy it online and pair it with a competitive athletics medical certificate.
- Sports promotion bodiesMembers of an Italian sports promotion body recognised by FIDAL, with a competitive medical certificate.
- International runnersMembers of a federation affiliated to World Athletics, or with a Runcard and a competitive medical certificate.
Open to FIDAL members for 2026 from the Juniores category up (so from age 18) with a competitive medical certificate for athletics, to athletes from foreign federations affiliated to World Athletics and, from age 20, to Runcard or Runcard EPS holders, who must show the original certificate at collection and leave a copy. Entries only on Icron, with online payment, until midnight on Thursday 3 December 2026; no entries or substitutions on race day.
Fees: €18 without race pack, €20 with pack by 31 October, €22 with pack until closing. You also need the FIDAL Puglia 2026 single bib (€10); runners from clubs outside Apulia use the €2 day bib. Prizes in kind for the top three men and women overall, the top five in each category and the top eight clubs.
